Construction Equipment Maintenance Technician

This apprenticeship is being designed for those that carry out technician-level duties at level 3 on construction plant and related equipment. The focus of the skills and knowledge includes  advanced diagnostics, mechatronics, digitial aids and battery-powered equipment, which are becoming commonplace within the sector, as well as having a higher level of autonomy and elements of supervisory roles.

This apprenticeship is currently under development by an industry-populated working group, project managed by technical staff of the CPA. Updates of progress and draft copies of the apprenticeship standard and assessment processes will be posted accordingly on this site for public comment.
