Due to the recent escalation of missile and drone attacks on Ukraine, deliberately targeting the country’s energy infrastructure, Ukraine is facing an urgent and critical need for assistance to support and stabilise its energy sector. These attacks have caused significant damage and continue to directly affect the civilian population.
We have received communication from the Consulate of Ukraine in Edinburgh stressing that the situation is particularly urgent at this time, as Ukraine is experiencing extremely low winter temperatures, and many communities are facing disruptions to heating and electricity supplies, leaving large numbers of people without reliable access to warmth and power.

The document outlines priority energy equipment requirements and includes direct contact details of responsible government officials, enabling donors and charitable organisations to engage directly and coordinate assistance efficiently.
