Please see below, sent on behalf of the Plant and Hire Aid Alliance:
For the fifth consecutive year, the Plant and Hire Aid Alliance will be sending Christmas gifts to displaced Ukrainian children living close to the front line.
As in previous years, Rotary International will collect the gifts from eastern Slovakia and distribute them directly to communities, schools, hospices and homes living in the shadow of the war zone. We will also produce a full report and share plenty of photographs at the conclusion of the campaign, so everyone involved can see the difference their generosity has made.I would like to invite your organisation to get involved.

How you can help
Donate a gift
Please encourage your employees to buy a Christmas gift, wrap it and attach a label clearly stating:
- What the gift is
- Whether it is suitable for a boy or girl
- The appropriate age range
Gifts should arrive at:
The Plant and Hire Aid Alliance
289–297 Felixstowe Road
Ipswich
Suffolk
IP3 9BS
by the end of November. Our trucks will leave the UK the following week. Alternatively, we can arrange collection.
Make a donation
Alternatively, you may prefer to make a financial contribution, which we will use to purchase gifts. We are also seeking support towards transport costs, so any assistance in this area would be greatly appreciated.
Volunteer wrapping day
We already have 60 pallets of toys being stored in Northampton, thanks to the generous support of Travis Perkins.
These toys will be wrapped at Claydon High School in Ipswich on 28 November, where we need approximately 180 volunteers to help us prepare them for their journey to Ukraine.
You can join us by signing up here:

Previous wrapping events have included food, music and plenty of festive spirit, and they have always been great fun.
If you are planning to support the campaign again this year, please let me know as soon as possible.
Thank you once again for your continued support. Together, we can help bring a little Christmas joy to children who are living through unimaginably difficult circumstances.
Kind regards,
