The CPA has responded to the government’s consultation on proposals for the creation of a single regulator in construction. Our response highlights the need for a targeted approach towards safety risks, proper resourcing for the regulator to adequately meet its sims, a clear allocation of responsibility in the supply chain with efforts to reduce duplication of effort, and encouraging cultural change at the top of the supply chain – in the right areas.
