RPA Ltd Supplementary Conditions
The Supplementary Conditions applicable to Rail Plant Hire, for use in conjunction with the CPA Model Conditions for the Hiring of Plant, were launched on 31 January 2002.
The RPA is of the view that these Supplementary Conditions are clear and concise but there may be a need for the Rail Contractors (the Hirers) to request local agreements that may refer to specific contracts. In such cases RPA members will need to act cautiously and make a commercial judgement.
In any event, care must be taken NOT to neutralise the Clauses in the RPA Supplementary Conditions.
